From accommodation to tour company providers, there’s potential for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to grow and improve productivity. Participants will be taught the concept of productivity in both personal and business settings and how he/she can enhance his/her productivity in both areas. The course will introduce simple tools to help introduce productivity improvement practices in the tourism industry.
Jane Teo, Adjunct Lecturer
Ms Jane Teo is a revenue management professional in Hospitality and an all rounded Finance graduate with high tenacity levels in problem solving. She has an inquisitive nature and is results driven. A self-starter who works with minimal supervision and a committed individual with a great sense of accountability and responsibility. After obtaining Bachelor of Commerce (Finance First Class Honours) from University of Sydney, Jane joined the Hospitality industry to practise revenue management, looking at pricing, yield and inventory management, developing strategy to obtain the ideal segment mix and strategic and tactical plan, with appropriate measurements to determine success and advising business opportunities across all revenue streams based on but not limited to data analysis, market trends and competitive movements.
