As travellers more sophisticated, destinations and attractions are evolving and new ones constantly emerging to cater to the need for more unique and tailored experiences. Participants will gain a basic understanding of the range and calibre of the tourism product offering is what attracts tourists to a destination. Yet the development of tourism products is a part of a large, inter-linked and continuing process and should not be considered in isolation.

Alexander Choo, Deputy Manager (Hospitality & Tourism)
Alex spent 10 years of his career as a hotelier in various properties including Marina Mandarin Singapore and Pan Pacific Orchard, before switching to education to groom the next generation hotel and tourism practitioners. Passionate about hospitality and hotel operations, Alex has been teaching and sharing on such topics for over 10 years as a lecturer at Nanyang Polytechnic. He holds a Higher Diploma in Hotel Management from SHATEC and a Bachelor of Science (Hotel, Restaurant & Travel Administration) from the University of Massachusetts.
