This course provides learners with foundational understanding on how to engage F&B customers on social media. Participants will acquire social media marketing strategies for F&B businesses, learn how to plan an online marketing campaign, create engaging digital content for social media, and track viewership and analyse responses using data analytics.
Trainer Profile: Karthik Bakthavathsalem, Lecturer
Karthik has spent more than 14 years in the Hotel and the Restaurant industry and has extensive international and local experience. After graduating from Oxford Brookes University, U.K. with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Karthik was involved in numerous restaurant set up and openings in various parts of Asia - Outback steakhouse in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Chilis in Singapore.
In his last capacity as General Manager at Chilis, he directly oversaw the operations and training functions of the American restaurant chain. He has recently completed his Masters in Education from NTU.
