This module introduces the participants to digital tools that can be harnessed to assess the financial health of public listed companies. Participants will be taught how to retrieve financial information through online databases and using spreadsheets and data visualization tools to perform trend and ratios analysis.

Trainer Profiles:

Ang Mui Lee, Senior Lecturer

Mui Lee graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy. Her teaching interests includes financial accounting and auditing. Prior to joining NYP, she has worked in several multinational companies focusing mainly in both financial and management reporting aspects. Her previous work experiences also include enhancing and integrating accounting systems and implementing finance internal control policies and procedures.

Yong Kin Loong, Senior Lecturer

Kin Loong has been a Senior Lecturer in the Accounting & Finance section of the School of Business Management, Nanyang Polytechnic for more than 10 years. He specialises in modules such as Fundamentals of Accounting, Accounting for Business and Advanced Financial Accounting. Kin Loong is also passionate about finance and teaches the Financial Management. Prior to joining Nanyang Polytechnic, he had years of working experiences as an Auditor in a public accounting firm and as a Financial Analyst in a bank.
