SGUS PROGRAMME IN BUSINESS PRACTICE - SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (SGUS BMC1)

About the Course

The SGUS Programme in Business Practice- Supply Chain Management aims to provide participants with a good understanding of logistics, materials and supply chain processes. It aims to develop graduates’ ability to work in challenging business environment in order to progress with changes in the economic landscape.

 

The modular certificate course helps participants develop skills in various aspects of business operations. Participants can expect to apply the acquired knowledge in their area of work to eventually achieve their professional goals.

  • Target Participants

    The programme is suitable for:

    • Logistics, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain operation personnel who wish to enhance their employability, capabilities and market value.
    • Technical staff working in logistics and supply chain sector who wish to obtain “breadth” in business operations so as to enhance their employability and capabilities within the organisation.

     

    * Please note that each eligible person can only participate in ONE (1) SGUnited SkillsProgramme.

  • Admission Requirements

    Admission Requirements

    Applicants with any of the following qualifications are invited to apply for the course:

    1. Minimum of 3 GCE ‘O’ Level credits, including English, Mathematics and at least 1 year of relevant working experience;
    2. NITEC with GPA ≥ 3.5 OR GPA ≥ 3.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience; 
    3. Higher NITEC with GPA ≥ 2.0 OR GPA ≥ 1.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience;
    4. NITEC in Services / Technology with GPA ≥ 3.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience;
    5. Higher NITEC in Services / Technology with GPA ≥ 2.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience;
    6. Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher), and at least 1 year of relevant working experience and Workplace Literary & Numeracy (WPLN) at Level ≥ 6.
    7. Others - At least 2 years relevant work experience (subject to interview/assessment).  

     

    Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

    Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.

  • Course schedule (conducting days & time)

    Course duration is from 28 Mar 2022 to 27 Sep 2022 and classes are conducted on Mondays & Wednesdays (Full day).

  • Course Fees and Funding

    Nett Course Fee payable for Singaporeans & Permanent Residents (incl GST): $500.00

    Applicants may use SkillsFuture Credit to offset the Nett Course Fee.
