SGUS PROGRAMME IN FUND MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATION (SGUS BMC7)

About the Course

The SGUS Programme in Fund Management & Administration aims to: Provide participants the opportunity to upgrade themselves with the necessary knowledge and competencies in the fund industry. Enhance the competitiveness of participants in the fund industry by covering both front office and middle/back office operations.   This SGUS programme consists of: Post Diploma Certificate in Fund Management (4 modules) Post Diploma Certificate in Fund Administration (4 modules) Effective Business Writing Skills module Data Visualisation for Business module Spreadsheet Applications module   Participants will receive a Post-Diploma Certificate upon successful completion of each Post Diploma Certificate and will be conferred a Specialist Diploma in Fund Management & Administration upon obtaining the two Post-Diploma Certificates.

  • Target Participants

    The programme is targeted at mid-level executives who aspire to deepen their knowledge and skill sets in the fund industry, so that they are well prepared to assume supervisory and management positions. Related functions include settlement, operations as well as risk management.

  • Admission Requirements

    A diploma from a local polytechnic or degree with minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferably in a related field. A good working knowledge in Accounting and/or Mathematics will be beneficial. Holders of other equivalent academic qualification from foreign institutions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.   Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)   Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on:   Evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience; OR Supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may be invited for an interview and/or proficiency test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.

  • Course schedule (conducting days & time)

    Course duration is from 12 Oct 2021 to 11 Apr 2022 and classes are conducted on Tuesdays & Thursdays (Full day).

  • Course Fees and Funding

    Nett Course Fee payable for Singaporeans & Permanent Residents (incl GST): $500.00

    Applicants may use SkillsFuture Credit to offset the Nett Course Fee.
